Assistant Quantity Surveyor

I am currently representing a Top Maintenance company who are seeking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, to be office based in Hertford, Hertfordshire. My client has grown steadily to become an established part of both the residential and commercial construction sector covering London and surrounding counties. They provide national coverage for one off contracts working alongside some of the largest national construction companies providing the complete cleaning service. Additionally, they are also heavily involved in the commercial sector maintaining a variety of both new build and refurbished developments cleaning some of the biggest new build supermarket distribution warehouses along the way.

The Position

We have a detailed management structure in place from Operations and Managing Directors through to Area Contract Managers then along to fully trained staff on the ground. This current position will require you support the Commercial Director to manage all commercial aspects of their role. As well as have experience in: understanding contracts, payment terms, payment applications, cost reporting, have the ability to read the scope of works, understand drawings and tendering experience is also highly coveted.
