CSA Construction Manager - Data Centres - Germany

We are currently seeking a CSA Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a €350 million data centre in Frankfurt. This is a high-profile, complex project, and we need a skilled professional with significant experience in civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) aspects of large-scale data centre builds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the CSA scope, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the CSA construction team and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of the project.
• Oversee all civil, structural, and architectural works, including foundations, structures, facades, and site development.
• Ensure the project follows strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards, with a strong focus on health and safety compliance.
• Manage project timelines, working closely with project managers and other departments to meet deadlines and address any delays or obstacles.
• Coordinate with the design team to ensure the CSA elements are fully integrated into the overall data center design.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plans, budget, and specifications.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management, highlighting any issues and recommending solutions.
• Oversee budget management for CSA works, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Drive the procurement process for CSA-related materials and services.
• Lead risk management efforts, identifying potential challenges in the construction process and developing mitigation strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager in civil, structural, and architectural disciplines, specifically on large-scale data center projects.
• Extensive knowledge of CSA construction within the data center sector.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and multiple contractors.
• In-depth understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory standards relevant to data center construction.
• Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience working in Europe or knowledge of European construction practices and regulations.
