Job details
I am currently representing a £72 Million turnover company who specialise in high-quality public realm and landscaping schemes, as well as highway and civil engineering projects.
Working across both public and private sectors, their integrated approach enables us to be agile and flexible to adapt and deliver anything from smaller-scale developments to multi-million-pound projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, and staff.
- Act as Office First Aider, Fire Marshal, and IT Gatekeeper.
- Manage reception: calls, greeting visitors, tidying office, coordinating cleaning services.
- Order office supplies, furniture, IT equipment, and manage maintenance contractors (electrical, plumbing).
- Handle office security, report fire alarm faults, and organize PAT testing.
- Book couriers, travel, and meals for Directors.
- Organize company events, manage meeting room bookings, and ensure rooms are stocked.
- Communicate office issues via email to staff.
- Control documents for pre-construction, commercial, and operations teams; log tenders and complete PQQs.
- Provide IT support: setup devices, liaise with third-party providers, purchase and manage software, and oversee server/cloud services.
- Oversee internal IT migration, office moves, and Wi-Fi functionality.
- Manage suppliers, reduce costs, and coordinate copier/printer maintenance.
- Log training certificates, manage accreditations, and update employee contact lists.
- Provide administrative support: printing, scanning, binding, and accreditation management.
- Manage reception staff and work experience placements.
- Assist with general office tasks and company events.
- Other Ad Hoc Duties as required.
