Our client are a leading construction and development company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across the Industrial and Commercial Sectors with a turnover of circa £130m.
As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of a £6 million Cut and Carve/modernisation of a Car Show Room in Tonbridge, Kent. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from initial planning and design through to completion and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate the project team to ensure the successful delivery of the New Build Industrial Scheme, meeting quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
- Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including resource allocation, budget management, and risk assessment. Ensure the project is executed according to plan and within scope.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other key stakeholders to ensure open communication and collaboration.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of construction and workmanship are maintained throughout the project.
- Monitor project finances, control costs, and prepare regular financial reports. Ensure that the project stays within budget.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations and standards are adhered to on-site, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
- Proactively identify and address project issues and challenges, finding effective solutions to keep the project on track.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related college qualification
- Proven experience as a Project Manager overseeing construction projects of similar scale and complexity (£5 million or larger).
- A deep understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
