Quantity Surveyor - Data Centres - Germany

Our client is a major player in Data Centre, Industrial, Pharma sectors both in the UK and internationally. 

I am looking for two Quantity Surveyors to work on a 350m euro project in Frankfurt, Germany

The Role

• Monitor project costs to ensure they remain within the approved budget, identifying and addressing any potential overruns early.
• Assist in preparing tender documents, evaluating subcontractor bids, and managing the procurement process for construction and MEP systems.
• Review and manage contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to, and addressing any variations or disputes that arise during the project.
• Track costs during the project, providing regular cost reports to the project manager and stakeholders, and implementing corrective actions if needed.
• Identify potential risks related to costs and advise on mitigation strategies, ensuring financial impact is minimized.
• Assess design and construction options to suggest cost-effective solutions without compromising quality or functionality.
• Manage and assess any changes to the scope of work, ensuring proper documentation and adjustments to budgets and schedules.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify progress and ensure work is completed as per the specifications and contract terms.
• Prepare final accounts at the end of the project, ensuring all financial aspects are settled, and payments are made to subcontractors and suppliers.
