Quantity Surveyor - Tier 1 Contractor

Invision Recruitment are currently representing a Tier 1 Main Contractor who are seeking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work for their Central London division, their highest performing business unit. My client is currently one of the biggest multi-disciplinary construction companies in the United Kingdom. This would be working for their London Construction arm. 

The Position:

You will be acting as number two to the commercial lead on one of my clients flagship project from inception through to completion. You will be responsible for cash management across various packages, by minimising cost and maximising value through proactive analysis and facilitation of works packages to maximise profitability for the business. You will produce and issue accurate and timely CVCs ensuring preliminary and material costs/forecasts are managed.

The Project(s)

My client undertakes general contracting projects throughout several sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, Life Sciences, government buildings and education projects from the value of £30 million to £150 million per project. I can discuss further specific project details upon interest.

Requirements

• Proven Experience in the Tier 1 Contracting Market
• Stable Career History
• Experience working on 2 stage projects and of managing own projects individually
• Experience of working on JCT/NEC forms of contract
