Senior Project Manager - Tier 1 Main Contractor

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Senior Project Manager to lead a £60m Life Sciences scheme in Kings Cross London This is a significant and exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale contracting project, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

My client are wanting a proven, highly driven and top drawer Senior PM from one of their main competitors in the Tier 1 Market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the project, from pre-construction through to completion.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Oversee the procurement process and manage contracts effectively.
• Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on progress, risks, and key milestones.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Director, with a successful track record in delivering large-scale projects in the Tier 1 market.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including risk management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to solve complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
• A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., PMP, MRICS) would be advantageous.
