My client is a leading construction company with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Site Manager to join their team for a £25 million industrial scheme in Avonmouth. 


As a Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire construction process, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting into a Senior Project Manager
  • Project Leadership: Lead and motivate a dedicated team of site professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
  • Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring effective coordination of all construction activities.
  • Quality Control: Enforce rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the highest standards of workmanship and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Health and Safety: Champion a strong safety culture on-site, implementing and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
  • Budget Management: Work closely with the project quantity surveyor to monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.


  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 7 years' experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering industrial projects.
  • Qualifications: Relevant construction qualifications (HND, HNC, Degree) and industry certifications.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and solve complex problems in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Health and Safety: Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
