Site Manager
Job details
Our client are a leading construction and development company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects across the Industrial and Commercial Sectors with a turnover of circa £130m.
As a Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a £6 million Cut and Carve/Modernisation of a Car Show Room in Tonbridge, Kent. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, ensuring the project is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the on-site construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor project progress and ensure it adheres to the project schedule and budget.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Quality control and assurance to meet project specifications and industry standards.
- Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related
- Proven experience as an Assistant/Site Manager overseeing construction projects of similar scale and complexity (£5 million or larger).
- A deep understanding of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
