Job details
I am currently representing an excellent main contractor with a turnover of circa £400 million per annum. They are seeking to recruit a Project Manager to be based on project in the Saffron Walden area. They have a very strong work pipeline and they are a specialist in projects across multiple sectors.
The Project - £32 Million Research & Development Facility
The scheme contains 8,000 sq.m of research space and provides a 10-bed clinical research facility and Education Suite, along with state-of-the-art wet and dry laboratory space. Constructed using an in-situ concrete frame clad with a mixture of anodised bronze rain screen cladding panels and curtain walling. Includes PV panels, an atrium green roof, and naturally ventilated dry research spaces.
The Position
You will manage a site team consisting of Site Managers, a Senior Engineer, Site Engineer, and report into a visiting Contracts Manager. Your responsibilities will include Master Programme formation, cost and procurement strategies, client liaison, design co-ordination and overall responsibility for project construction from inception through to practical completion are handover.
