My client is a chartered Main Contractor specialising in commercial fit-out and refurbishment across industrial, office and education sectors throughout London and the South East. Typical project values are up to £4m.
The Role
Due to ongoing project growth and a confirmed pipeline heading into 2026, my client is looking to appoint an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with strong main contracting experience in both traditional and D&B commercial fit-out schemes. The position is full-time, office-based in Maidenhead with site visits across the South East including London.
You’ll be involved in the full project lifecycle — from tendering, subcontract procurement and value engineering, through to change control, interim payments and agreement of final accounts. This is a client-facing position requiring confidence in tender evaluation, cost management and negotiation, supported by an established supply chain and experienced project delivery teams.
The Person
You will ideally bring 5+ years’ experience in estimating and/or quantity surveying with a main contractor, with strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial fit-out environments. A full driving licence is essential. The role suits someone detail-focused, analytical, confident with clients and suppliers, and able to manage deadlines and commercial reporting.
