Emphasizing versatility and expertise, the company tackles a diverse range of residential projects, including:
- New Builds: Spanning Traditional, Steel Frame, RC Frame Timber, & Modular construction.
- Refurbishments / Conversions
- Projects ranging in scale from £2M to £20M, showcasing a broad spectrum of capabilities.
Job Description:
- Conducting detailed cost analysis for residential construction projects, including material, labour, and overhead costs.
- Collaborating with project managers and architects to prepare accurate project budgets and cost estimates.
- Procuring subcontractor bids and negotiating contracts to ensure competitive pricing and quality workmanship.
- Monitoring project expenditures and implementing cost-control measures to optimize project profitability.
- Reviewing and approving payment applications from subcontractors and suppliers in accordance with contractual agreements.
- Performing regular site visits to assess progress, identify potential cost overruns, and resolve any commercial disputes.
- Preparing and submitting timely progress reports and financial forecasts to stakeholders.
- Managing variations and change orders throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities to address any commercial or contractual issues promptly.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness in quantity surveying processes.
