Invision Recruitment is partnered with a Top Construction company who are seeking to recruit an Senior Estimator. Sectors my client work within include Commercial, Industrial, Data Centres, Education, Residential, Leisure, Retail & Hospitality. Their projects include new build schemes, heavy and structural refurbishment, restoration and fit out projects.
The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a experienced Senior Estimator to join their team, focusing on our industrial projects spanning approximately 100,000 sqft. Based in the vibrant locales of London and Cambridge, with the added flexibility to work remotely, you will play a pivotal role in driving our projects to success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review all tender information and Employer's Requirements (ERs).
- Complete a quantified and detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Present tender submissions meticulously for adjudication.
- Prepare detailed built-up rates and pricing information.
- Compile tender packs efficiently.
- Obtain and analyse tender returns for inclusion within tender submissions and handover packs.
- Review, assess, and report on tender information.
- Attend site visits to gather essential insights.
- Liaise and provide information and support to pre-construction, technical, and planning functions.
- Prepare detailed risk registers and information required for Contractor’s Proposals.
- Attend pre-tender, mid-tender, and post-tender meetings as required.
- Negotiate final contract sums.
- Prepare handover packs for internal departments, including finance.
- Assist the commercial teams in establishing project budgets.
